Horses & Ponies
Just what show would be complete without the extensive range of showing and jumping classes put on throughout the three days. Everything from Heavy Horses to the tiny Miniature Horses, excitement of show jumping and sheer skill and agility of the Pony Club Teams competing fiercely on the Sunday for the coveted winner’s crown.
Llamas
Come and see the llamas and speak to their owners about them.
Visit the South of England Rare Breeds Centre, PRINCESS CHRISTIANS FARM and RARE BREEDS SURVIVAL TRUST areas to see a fascinating collection of rare breed farm animals.
The main arena will be packed with exciting activities on all three days, see your programme for timings. The FALCONRY DISPLAY always generates great interest. Just think of the hours and hours of trust built up between man and his bird of prey. Visit the FORESTRY area and learn about wildlife and conservation of our countryside. Keep your eyes peeled and spot the owls and bats! Also, watch with interest how the forester carves animals and people out of a block of wood with a chainsaw. Watch the working prison dogs but stand still or you may be next!
Phew! Simply loads to do and see. If you are so busy wandering around and forget where you left your Mum/Dad or Teacher, remember the MEETING POINT for lost grown ups.
